Sun’s Eye Solar Power.  We are a fully licensed electrical contractor in the state of Washington under our corporate name of BB Electric Inc. Since our focus shifted to solar installations in 2005 we operate under our registered trade name of Sun’s Eye Solar Power.

Brad Burkhartzmeyer is president and founder of Sun’s Eye Solar Power, a Tacoma based photovoltaic and solar energy design and installation Company. Sun’s Eye Solar has installed many solar systems in Tacoma and the Puget Sound region and has been instrumental in promoting community solar in Tacoma and Pierce County.

Brad has been an electrical contractor in Tacoma since 1993. He is a NABCEP (North American Board of Certified Energy Professionals) certified Photovoltaic Installer and an IREC (Interstate Renewable Energy Council) Certified Master Trainer. Brad is a member of Solar Washington and the American Solar Energy Society. Brad lives and works in Tacoma.

Chris Brooks has worked for Sun’s Eye Solar Power for four years.   He has a Master’s degree in Renewable Energy and is a NABCEP certified Photovoltaic Installer. Chris has installed many solar systems in Tacoma and throughout the region. Chris lives and works in Tacoma.

Susannah Nuriel has been with Sun’s Eye Solar since 1993 as our treasurer and office manager. She is the company’s first (and some would say, most important) employee. Susannah has been instrumental in overseeing the company’s growth and reputation. She provides us with the day to day tedious work of making sure all our licenses, registrations, tax reporting, invoices, and bills are all up to date.

Kevin Kelly has been with the company since 2007. Kevin has been the mainstay of the roof installation team and has been a part of almost every installation undertaken in the past five years. Kevin’s roots in the community bring a strong connection to the pulse of the region to our operations. When not installing solar, Kevin can be found snowboarding on the slopes of the Cascade Mountains.
